Katie brings a rare and valuable combination of frontline law enforcement experience and legal expertise to her role as Firm Administrator, Certified Law Clerk, and Senior Paralegal at KC Law Group, where she is known for her unwavering commitment to client service. As a Certified Law Clerk through the State Bar of California, she plays a central role in supporting all firm legal matters—blending strategic insight with hands-on case management and client interaction.

Prior to joining the firm, Katie served over a decade as a sworn police officer with a Southern California law enforcement agency. This firsthand experience in public safety gives her a deep understanding of the legal and procedural complexities involved in administrative, employment, criminal, and civil cases. At KC Law Group, she drafts motions, conducts legal research and writing, supports employment grievance matters, prepares family law documents for uncontested divorces, and responds to officer-involved shootings as part of the firm’s Critical Incident Response Team.

Katie holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. She has also earned professional certificates in Paralegal Studies and Private Investigation, is a Certified Notary Public, and is a licensed Private Investigator.

Katie graduated from Trinity Law School in December 2025 with her Juris Doctor (JD) degree, ranking in the top 10% of her class. She received multiple academic honors, including highest achievement awards in Torts, Contracts, Legal Research and Writing, and Contracts Drafting. She plans to sit for the California Bar Exam in February 2026.

Outside the firm, Katie serves as adjunct faculty at Fullerton College, where she teaches Police Report Writing and Introduction to Criminal Justice. She previously served as a Board Member for the Inland Empire Blue Belles as well as a Board Member and Secretary for Heart Christian Academy.

In her free time, Katie enjoys cheering on her children at sporting events, volunteering at church, camping at the beach, and cooking creatively—often without recipes.
