Hunter Brooks is a dedicated Law Clerk at KC Law Group, A Professional Law Corporation. He brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial experience, academic achievement, and life-proven resilience that enables him to support the firm’s criminal defense and employment law practice with tenacity, attention to detail, and a practical real-world perspective.

Hunter attended Hendrix College, where he lettered in collegiate baseball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. After graduating in just three years, he returned home to help operate his family’s retail jewelry business. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth and became recognized as one of the premier jewelry stores in the South.

Building on that success, Hunter founded Brooks Gems, a jewelry consulting and supply company specializing in sourcing, design, inventory management, appraisals, and client consulting. As a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, he developed a meticulous eye for detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to client service—qualities that continue to serve him well in the legal profession.

Inspired by personal experiences that shaped his interest in justice and advocacy, Hunter pursued a legal education after relocating to California in 2019. While balancing family responsibilities and overcoming significant personal challenges, he enrolled in law school and successfully earned his Juris Doctor. During law school, he completed multiple legal internships, gaining practical experience in litigation, legal research, case analysis, and client advocacy.

Hunter's background is defined by perseverance, adaptability, and service. He values fairness, empathy, and accountability, and he brings those principles to every matter he supports. With several family members and close friends serving in law enforcement, public service, and government roles, he has developed a deep respect for first responders and public servants and maintains a particular interest in matters affecting those communities.

Outside the office, Hunter volunteers as a youth baseball and softball coach, mentoring young athletes and teaching the importance of teamwork, discipline, and confidence. As both a father and stepfather, he brings a strong sense of responsibility, advocacy, and dedication to his family and professional life.
