Shannon served with the Corona Police Department for 22 years, including 18 years in a sworn capacity. Throughout Shannon’s career, she worked in a wide range of assignments, including patrol operations, investigations, field training, and specialized units such as Domestic Violence, Field Training Officer, and Background Investigator. She ultimately retired at the rank of Detective in the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit.


With over 20 years of progressive law enforcement experience, Shannon conducted complex criminal investigations involving sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence. She led comprehensive investigations that included evidence collection, forensic documentation, suspect and witness interviews, and detailed case preparation for prosecution, supported by extensive courtroom testimony. She is recognized for strong investigative skills, victim-centered interviewing, and thorough case documentation, and remains deeply committed to ethical policing, public safety, and interagency collaboration.


Shannon is currently enrolled and majoring in Criminal Justice, with academic studies completed through Riverside Community College, La Sierra University, and California Baptist University.


In her spare time, Shannon enjoys baking, exploring local coffee houses, and spending time with her family—including four dogs.
